Bin Laden suffered severe Kidney infection 2 months before 9/11. On dialysis treatment, was admitted to a hospital in Dubai. Died in 2002 from kidney failure, funeral attended by a small group of Al Qaeda militants, and buried in an unnamed grave, custom of his Wahabbi sect of Islam, who wore no wedding rings.
